Whitney Gonneville is a certified personal trainer through NASM – National Academy of Sports Medicine. Whitney has been personal training since 2010, in both the New England and DC Metro area. Whitney is a graduate of University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science as well as a former NCAA Division I soccer player. Her experiences in a top level strength and conditioning program under Coach Paul Goodman (current Strength Coach, NHL Chicago Blackhawks) helped Whitney to discover her passion for achieving high levels of personal fitness and helping others to do the same.
Whitney is a New England native, from Northfield, Vermont. In high school she participated competitively in soccer, ice hockey and equestrian sports. As a successful student leader and major contributor, she helped her soccer team get to the state title all 4 years, which they won 3 times. Whitney’s knowledge and experience in a variety of athletic settings makes her an ideal resource for sport specific training, mental coaching and helping those with high level aspirations to reach top performance. In addition to athletes, Whitney specializes in helping all populations achieve a healthier lifestyle. Whitney believes that one size doesn’t fit all and she enjoys working with the individual to tailor a program best suited to their lifestyle and personal goals.
In her spare time Whitney enjoys reading, Pilates and riding horses. Whitney uses her personal experience and educational background to create programs that are best suited for an individual’s goals and abilities to assist them in taking a positive journey to overall wellness.
